Young (er) Adults

Yes, that's right we are forming a new group. The things about groups based on age is that people age. It's totally natural! Since our group has become more and more geared to young families, we have formed a new group for people in their 20's. This group has a facebook page. If you are interested in this group, please e-mail me and I can give you the details. People are encouraged to go to whatever group they feel more comfortable. If you are 25 and want to go to both groups, that is fine to. We are just trying to meet the needs of more people.

July Gathering

Since we did not meet in June, I am sure you are all anxious to get back into the swing of things for our meeting in July. Carter and Virginia offered to host on July 18th. We already have a topic, which is a lecture by AJ Jacobs on living the Bible for a year. It is about a 20 minute lecture that you can find on the website below. It is pretty interesting, and even if you cannot attend, I would watch it. If you are an overachiever, you can read the book that the lecture is based on.

March Gathering

We have a tentative date for March 28th. We will be having a beer tasting and playing cards. I am not exactly sure what that is going to look like, but it is sure to be fun. We will have it at the church and there will be childcare provided.

February Gatherings

On February 19th, we will make a meal for the Mission of the Holy Spirit. We can always use help with shopping, cooking, serving and cleaning!

On February 28th, we will meet at the home of Chris and Sara for food and discussion. We will be discussing one of the lectionary readings.

January Gathering

I realize it has been awhile since I have last posted. It is not because we have not done anything. We met in November but decided not to meet in December due to busy schedules. We did fix dinner for the Mission of the Holy Spirit in November and December. Our next gathering will be on January 10th at the home of Virginia and Carter. We will be discussing The Shack. Please read that so we can discuss it. Virginia will be sending out more details as the date draws closer.

October Game night!

On Saturday, Oct. 11th, we will meet at the church at 7pm for a game night. Please bring yur favorite game and a bottle of wine for less than $10. Childcare will be provided. If you will be using the childcare, please let Samantha know.

September gathering

Our next dinner and discussion will be Saturday, September 13th at 7pm. Virginia and Carter will be hosting. More information on the way!
