January events

Thank you to all who attended the Christmas party. It was a lot of fun. Stay tuned for the date of our January gathering at the home of Clay & Kristi. We will also be starting our monthly outreach project in January. The tentative date for that is Jan. 17th. We will be fixing a meal for the Mission of the Holy Spirit.

Christmas Party

The date has been set for the Christmas Party. It is Saturday, Dec. 1st. The party will start at 7pm here at the church. Babysitting is available. Let me know if you will be taking advantage of the babysitting. We will be doing a Chinese gift Exchange. Please bring a gift for under $10. Please also bring a tasty treat or beverage.

Outreach Opportunity

As a group we have been looking for a way to give something to the community. Our tentative plan is to provide a meal once a month to the Mission of the Holy Spirit for one of their evening activities. If you are interested in this, please conact Samantha.

Church of the Ascension Young Adults

Church of the Ascension is an Episcopal Church in Norfolk, Virginia. We have an awesome group of young adults (20's & 30's) who meet once a month. We meet to have dinner and some faith related discussion. Often we talk about books. Sometimes we have movies or just discussion questions. We also meet for purely social events. These events have included: family picnic, wine and cheese, murder mystery dinner, etc.
